This blend has two functions: to benefit your skin and to subtly perfume your skincare oil naturally.

  • Function: Calms - Invigorates - Repairs
  • Application: To be added to your face or body oil

Essential oils: the benefits of the Renew synergy on your skin

Whether it's a precious oil or pure oils, adding this synergy to your face or body care will bring you the powerful benefits of selected plants to treat a wide range of dermatological problems such as acne, hair loss, oily hair, recent scars, chapped skin, allergic dermatosis, seborrheic eczema, bedsores, impetigo, scalp mycosis, cutaneous parasitosis, mature skin and wrinkles.

Perfume your face and body oil with natural scents of ylang-ylang and bergamot

This composition is designed around Bergamot and refreshed by a Patchouli accord. Unisex, it will leave no one indifferent.

The skin on your body is much less sensitive than the skin on your face, so if your skin allows you to use perfume in your creams or treatments, don't hesitate to add this booster to your oil and let the natural fragrance of this blend soothe you.

What are the differences between vegetable oils and essential oils?
Vegetable oils and essential oils are both derived from nature, but they are very different in terms of composition, origin, manufacturing method, and use.
Vegetable oils are fatty substances that nourish and protect the skin, while essential oils are concentrated volatile substances that have therapeutic properties.
Vegetable oil
They are extracted from oilseed plants like baobab, sunflower, or from nuts, seeds, or flowers. They contain vitamins and fatty acids and possess nourishing, protective, softening, and regenerative properties that are beneficial for the skin. They can be used or consumed neat. They can also serve as a base for diluting essential oils.
Essential oil
They are obtained from flowers, stems, roots, or leaves of plants, often through distillation. They exhibit therapeutic properties (tonifying, digestive, soothing, etc.) that vary depending on their origin. They generally need to be diluted, for example, in a vegetable oil, and can also be inhaled. Care must be taken as there are contraindications to the use of essential oils, and some of their chemical components can be dangerous.

Ylang-ylang

Ylang-ylang, flower of flowers
Native to Southeast Asia, ylang-ylang or ilang-ilang (Cananga odorata Hook & Thom) is a tropical tree belonging to the Annonaceae family. The name ylang-ylang comes from the Tagalog name "ílang-ilang" (official language of the Philippines) which means "flower of flowers". Ylang-ylang essential oil, obtained from the distillation of its flowers, first appeared in Manila (Philippines) in the 1860s. However, it was in Nosy-Be (Madagascar) and the Comoros Islands that its large-scale commercial production developed, where the tree is cultivated mainly as bushes.

Ylang-ylang essential oil production
Ylang-ylang essential oil is obtained by steam distillation of its flowers. Distillation can last between 12 and 20 hours and is carried out in stills to extract essential oil in several fractions corresponding to distinct essential oil qualities: ylang extra superior, ylang extra, and complete distillation ylang (ylang DC).
Ylang extra superior and ylang extra are the most used in perfumery.
Expensive and very floral in scent, these correspond to the essential oils obtained at the beginning of distillation.
For aromatherapy, ylang ylang DC, or complete distillation, is preferable because its therapeutic potency and skin tolerance are superior.

Properties of ylang-ylang essential oil
Hair properties
Its essential oil is renowned for hair care as it promotes hair shine while toning it. It is essential for hair loss, alopecia, dull hair lacking vitality, and post-chemotherapy hair.

Powerful and prolonged anti-inflammatory properties
It is also found in all types of body care products, as ylang-ylang is recognized for its powerful anti-inflammatory properties (skin allergies, eczema, psoriasis, hives, seborrheic dermatitis, osteoarthritis, rheumatism). An excellent sebum regulator, it is a natural energizer with a powerful exotic floral note.

Antispasmodic properties
Ylang ylang is also indicated for fibromyalgia, muscle pain, abdominal pain, menstrual pain, and spasms.
